Seeking Beacons of Leadership
Tech Team
The tech team is seeking a person to help lead them in a new presentation software. This person will ensure the visuals are running smoothly.
Young Adult Leader
Our young adults are in need of a leader or leaders! This leadership would invlove mentorship, organizing events, and advocating for their needs within the church.
Lighthouse Kids & Teens
Our youth ministries are growing quickly. We could use more hands and leaders who are willing to help with the kids programs. More volenteers will mean that we can meet the kids at their age level more effectivly (and give our current volenteers a break)!
The LBA serves as the spiritual and strategic backbone of Lighthouse Wesleyan Church, prayerfully guiding vision, stewarding resources, and supporting the pastor and ministries so that we remain faithful to our mission of Loving God, Loving Others, and Lighting the WAY Home. This team doesn’t just make decisions—they discern God’s direction, protect unity, and champion the health of the church with wisdom and humility. They lead with both heart and backbone, ensuring the church stays on mission and moving forward.
The Christian Education Team builds pathways for people of all ages to grow deeper in their faith, creating engaging, Bible-centered learning environments that move people from curiosity to commitment. Whether it’s classes, small groups, or discipleship tracks, this team helps turn “head knowledge” into “heart transformation,” making learning about Jesus something people actually look forward to.
The Greeting Team is the front door of Lighthouse—literally and spiritually—creating a warm, welcoming, and joyful first impression that says, “You belong here.” With smiles, handshakes, and a keen eye for new faces, they turn awkward first visits into meaningful connections and help every person feel seen, known, and valued from the moment they arrive.
The Worship Team leads the congregation into authentic encounters with God through music and praise, setting the tone for hearts to open and lives to be transformed. More than musicians, they are worshippers first—modeling passion, humility, and excellence as they guide others into God’s presence week after week.
The Sound Tech Team works behind the scenes but makes a front-line impact, ensuring that every word spoken and every note played is heard clearly and powerfully. With a blend of technical skill and servant-hearted focus, they remove distractions so people can fully engage in worship and the Word—because when sound is seamless, the message shines.
The Facility Team keeps Lighthouse running smoothly by maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment where ministry can thrive. From fixing what’s broken to improving what’s working, they take pride in creating a space that reflects excellence and care—while building friendships and having a little fun along the way.
The Hospitality Team turns moments into experiences by creating welcoming environments through food, fellowship, and thoughtful touches that make people feel at home. Whether it’s coffee, events, or special gatherings, they help foster connection and community—because sometimes the best ministry happens over a shared table.
The Baptism Team helps create a welcoming, organized, and meaningful experience for those publicly declaring their faith in Jesus Christ through baptism. This team serves with joy by helping prepare the baptism area, assisting candidates and families, offering prayer and encouragement, and celebrating life change together as a church family. Whether behind the scenes or face-to-face, the Baptism Team helps people take an important next step in their walk with Jesus while showing the love and support of LWC.
The Card Ministry Team spreads encouragement one note at a time, reaching people in moments of joy, sorrow, and everything in between. Through handwritten cards and thoughtful messages, they remind others that they are seen, loved, and prayed for—often at just the right moment.
The Children’s Ministry Team invests in the next generation by creating fun, safe, and engaging environments where kids learn about Jesus on their level. Through creativity, energy, and intentional teaching, they help plant seeds of faith that will grow for a lifetime—because little hearts matter big to God.
The Youth Group Ministry Team exists to help students grow in their relationship with Jesus while building authentic friendships and discovering their God-given purpose. This team creates a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where teens can ask questions, learn God’s Word, serve others, and experience the love of Christ through caring leaders and meaningful connection. From games and small groups to worship nights and conversations about real life, the Youth Ministry Team helps guide the next generation toward a lifelong faith in Jesus.
The Young Adult Team builds authentic community for young adults navigating faith, purpose, and life’s big questions. Through connection, conversation, and discipleship, they create a space where people can belong, grow, and be challenged to live boldly for Christ in today’s world.
